Title I at TES

Lisa Bryant

Mrs. Bryant is excited to come out of retirement to be the new part time reading specialist at TES! Her teaching career includes teaching second grade, third grade, and Title I reading at CES where she taught for 30 years. After helping with remediation at TES, she knew it was the place for her!

Spending time with her husband, daughter, and son is her favorite thing! In her free time, she loves to read and take care of the family farm. She also enjoys camping and spending time with her grand dogs!

Cindy Cox

Mrs. Cox is going into her 29th year of teaching. She has taught first grade, kindergarten, and Title 1. Her college degrees are from Radford University, Lynchburg College, and Longwood University.  She loves teaching reading and assisting her students as they learn the joy of reading.

She has a husband, two sons, and a wonderful daughter-in-law. In her free time, Mrs. Cox enjoys reading, spending time with her family, family game nights, and going to the beach. 


Miranda Skiff

This will be Mrs. Skiff’s 10th year of teaching. She has taught first grade for a year in Lynchburg City, Kindergarten for 8 years here at TES, and is excited to begin a new journey teaching Title I Reading! She is originally from Northern New York, but she moved to the Lynchburg area in 2013. She has a husband Drew, along with a seven year old daughter (Hattie) and four year old son (Sawyer). Mrs. Skiff LOVES to read, and teaching students how to do one of her favorite things brings her so much joy!
